"So
far this year to date we have engaged post disaster care for
over 7 families. We cared for 3 families in the Murdock WA
fire, and offered assistance to one other who refused. While
simultaneously providing care for 2 other families burned
out in Biggs Junction, OR around the same time. We also recently
assisted families burned out in Klickitat, WA and, White Salmon
WA,"

Why
United Way?
We’re
Local United Way of the Columbia Gorge works with the whole Gorge community for the common good by focusing on basic human needs, children, seniors, and keeping people safe from abuse and violence.
Your gift is invested in communities throughout the Columbia Gorge improving lives and inspiring hope. GIVE. ADVOCATE. VOLUNTEER.
We’re
Effective
Your donation, when pooled with the contributions of many, becomes
a powerful tool in addressing local human service needs.
We’re
Efficient
United Way of the Columbia Gorge invests over 93%
of all dollars received back into this community! We do this by
using an all-volunteer work force to solicit those dollars, and
a volunteer Board of Directors recruited from this community to
distribute those funds. Your gift gets results!
